The Holly Springs Salamanders baseball team will host the Coastal Plain Leagueâs 19th annual All-Star Game next summer, a two-day event that officials say will bring up to $3 million to the area. The head coaches voted on players to send to Savannah along with two media representatives from each organization. The 21st annual CPL All-Star event will make its first trip to historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Ga., July 7-8, 2019. The 2019 Coastal Plain League All-Star Showdown will be televised nationally to over 30 million households, as well as streamed live on MLB.com and the Coastal Plain Leagueâs website. The Cape Cod League nears its All-Star Break while play rolls along in the Coastal Plain League. The summer-collegiate Coastal Plain League has unveiled a unique two-day, six team format for its 2019 All-Star Showdown, which will take place at the Savannah Bananasâ Grayson Stadium July 7-8. The Wilmington Sharks will send two players to the 2019 Coastal Plain League All-Star Showdown at Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia. The game is on Monday July 8 at 7 p.m. The Savannah Bananas will host the summer-collegiate Coastal Plain Leagueâs 2019 All-Star Showdown, with the event set to take place at Grayson Stadium July 7-8.
