The fellowship focuses on the management of trauma and poly-trauma patients with emphasis on fractures of the acetabulum, pelvis, and complex intrarticular injuries and post traumatic malunion and nonunion management. There are currently 5 helicopters, which provide transportation from hospital to hospital as well as from accident scene to Vanderbilt.
